6” Glass Mosaic Bee Watering Tray

Bees and other pollinators play an important role in helping our flowers, gardens and food grow. A shallow source of water gives these busy little garden visitors a place to stop, drink and rest, while the mosaic glass pieces give them little landing places to hold onto while they sip. The three-hour class should be ample time to complete your project.

A little about the process

Mosaic is a process—and part of the fun is creating your design and watching it come together!

You’ll design and adhere your glass during class. Once your mosaic is complete, the mortar needs time to cure before it can be grouted.

Then you can choose what works best for you: return to Serendipity during a designated grouting time and grout your piece with my guidance, or take your grout home and finish it yourself. I’ll provide simple instructions for mixing, grouting and cleaning your mosaic.

The grout we’re using does not require sealing, so once your finished piece has fully cured, it’s ready for its garden home.

Important: Wait the full recommended curing period before adding water to your bee water tray.
